That's it then. It's the end of first year in my course, Digital Media Design, for me. Looking back, i think to myself what a crazy year! There were so many changes, so many challenges, so many things learnt. I feel that I have held on to my most deepest believes and have come through in one piece lol.

I feel that God has really blessed me. Whatever things i chose to hold on to and whatever i chose to let go of has made me stronger.

I know I will be able to go further than I've ever gone in the coming years. And God Bless my strides. Each one I will make in Your Name.

As the Holiday season approach for me, it means finally some time to do some non-school work. I feel like loading this place with all the works I've done but had not had the time to post it for all to see.

But that's provided I don't get too much to do during the Holiday season itself.

I realise that everytime someone asks me "u know this song?" i usually say no.. cos that song's probably comtemporary english, or some old chinese song.. i dont listen to many english songs rit now, except maybe worship songs.. comtemporary chinese songs currently dominate my playlist.. hahas..

I was failing chinese cos of the written stuff not the speech aspect of it.. yea and i speak alot of english when with my friends, and cell yea.. But i speak mandarin at home.. yea.. and watch channel U more than channel 5.. Yu le 100% is like so funny.. XD Yea.. *Aei yo*.. hahazz.. Now someone needs to get me into Eng Songs.. yea..

The fact im bloggin means i didnt go to town today.. yea cos my frens were gng tml and that it's raining so my photos (as ive learnt) will look sad (literally so).. But I did borrow a illustration book on Norman Rockwell and an oriental interior design book from cck library..

Its been a vvvvveeeeeerrrrryyyyyy long time since i updated this dusty blog. *blows dust off the top* yea.. Well, I just wanna start updating again.

Since sem2 started again.. it's been no time, no time, no time.. yea.. but im glad im learning to slowly cope with it. planning the usage of my weekly time in advance to make sure that I have the correct amount of time allocated to all my different kinds of assignments. But i sometimes just can't keep up.. hahas.. Yea..

Wish i could do more personal works to show the improvements and progress i made in designing, drawing and digital painting since i took up my course. but i gotta slowly ease it into my scheldule.

The Maltese puppy my sis just bought likes to bite ppl at the toes.. but it still is cute.. XD yea..

I'll be going to National Library on Monday which is tml to get books on Figure drawing.. since the community library at CCK only had 3 shelves on Art and no book from there was on that.. on the way drop by Art Friend to get my Copic Markers and also snap some photos of the area for my Digital Imaging Assignment. Yup.. I'm a book borrowing, marker buying, photo snapping freak.. ^^

Yea.. no time liao.. must work on my designs.. nah.. i planned my time already.. so no worries.. God Bless..

I'm so not in the mood to draw.. There's assignments and stuff.. so i can't go into drawing mode without feeling at least some pressure.. like "shouldn't you be drawing for ur Drawing Module instead?"

But all in all, I'm satisfied with the term break..

I feel so weak.. I can't do anything at all.. I've had enough of games for like 5 months.. I'm not saying Kingdom Hearts 2.. I love that game and I WILL play it.. but all the other games.. I can't play them anymore.. It just doesn't feel right anymore.. (I will still come for WoE pple..)

Since gaming has been my way of life this long long break, getting sick of it means I've nothing left..

The piano.. Writing.. Drawing.. All of these can't occupy my time anymore from now on..

Piano: I've just got addicted to the church's Piano.. My electronic one just can't beat that.. So I can't play on it anymore..

Writing: My life is full of changes right now.. There's been stuff in Tears Of Rain that I just have to edit and I have no idea.. or.. I don't know how I want the rest of the story should go.. So I can't continue writing..

Drawing: Entering DMD showed me that I need to learn much more about drawing.. So my confidence in drawing has dipped.. So I can't draw for Tears Of Rain for sometime.. Its back to the basics for me now..

So I'm only left with the first assignment that I need to complete by next Friday.. But I can't spend the rest of the days only doing that..

I've to let go of some things and have to accept some things as Poly life starts.. Well, I'm feeling so many feelings that I'm getting confused..

Big plans for Tears Of Rain.

Yup... I am pretty ambitious with what Tears Of Rain will become... I'm so glad that the Artwork(or as I would call it: Concept Art) has turned out so well...

These works are supposed to bring the T.O.R world to life... and I hope they've done that. Well, with my Polytechnic course(Digital Media Design) educating me, I really hope to turn up even better works and build myself a career in the Gaming Industry. ^^

I wanna become the Art Director of some great Game Company(eg: Square-Enix, Capcom, Lucasarts, Blizzard, Rockstar, Ubisoft, Koei...)!!!

Preoccupied.

So you must be wondering what happened to my posting. Well I've not been writing recently. Well, I can't find the motivation anymore. Put in another way, I haven't been really inspired these days to continue the story.

I've been preoccupied with an online game. A private server of Ragnarok Online. It's really cool. U meet all kinds of people there. Also those you know as friends in real life. You can be someone you want to be and do things you could never do in the real world (like die again and again).

Yes, I've met alot of people, especially in my guild, God's Hand. We're like a big family with a same goal: War of Emperium. But we're more than just WoE, we chat about life, joke and also we actually attend weddings of guild members as a guild. God's Hand is the warmest guild on the server and I'll never leave it. => Unless there's a guild with a really nice emblem.. Nah kidding. ;P

Maybe Ragnarok Online will give me inspiration to craft out the rest of the story. You never know. It's a world of possibilities.

New Artwork Section!! Yay!

Hi people! I've initiated the Artwork section which will be divided into the MISC and Tears of Rain sections. The Tears of Rain section is for(you know) Tears of Rain. MISC is for pictures not related to Tears of Rain. Just pictures I wish to convey my thoughts and feelings with.

Thinking about things that had happened to me and people around me drove me to create 'Starsky' with Photoshop. Its also a picture someone requested. But whatever it is, it's my first masterpiece on Photoshop.

I think 'Starsky' will apply to many people I know, whoare sad, hurt and depressed right now.

But its okay. The available-to-read Chapters won't be changed much since I've already got the main plot put down.

I'm sorry to say that the posting of the next Chapter of Tears Of Rain will be delayed until further notice as Paul Victor and me have new plans for this 'Epic Novel'.

Can't say much about the new plans yet for now as much have to be decided. I'll be back with more news regarding this change of plans soon.

However, I do wish for your continued support.

Chapters too Short for a Novel..

Yup. I realised, under the guidance of Paul V, that Chapters One and Two(To be posted) are too short. So what I'll do is to combine the two Chapters together so they become the new Chapter One. Chapter Three is ok so it'll just become Chapter Two and so on.

But don't worry, I'll not post an entire long Chapter at a time. I'll split up each of the Chapters and post them part by part so that you do not have to read so much at a time.

Yup. Pls do. It just doesn't feel right to passionately reveal the next part of the story to a bunch of invisible audience.

It's pointless to write something and post it and noone actually sees it. I need to know that somebody sees it, so that I know I'm not screwing up the pace of revelation of the story. Pls Guide Me along... Said that alot these few days. Its the most appropriate thing to say after showing someone your work and then descend to a more humble position. It's also very polite.

Anyway, I can't publish more of Tears Of Rain though much more is finished than what you see here because I haven't got enough people responding to(and reading) the 'First Moments of Chapter One'.

Well, I guess it just takes time. I'll just sit around and wait for more people to see it. Maybe I should just talk about the story today.

Tears Of Rain will be a novel(hopefully) in the Fantasy/Romance genre. It's kind of a hybrid. It happens in a world of sweeping change. Revolution riding on the waves of war. The world is changed, politically and socially. One that has forgotten peace, happiness and love in all its forms. Adding to all the enigmas and questions that emerge as revolution takes its course, it becomes that even Fate isn't what it seems.

I'll also draw for the novel. I've done a few already, and will post them as we go along.

The beginning of Chapter One is below(11 Feb). Pls guide me along. :)

Feeling Around

Just great. I spent most of the morning feeling my way around web scripting. Why can't scripting be just say what you want and it is done automatically? I struggled for so long, at the same time managing chats with frens and people I just want to talk to, and trying and trying again and finally got that stupid picture up.

Ok scripting aside. Tears Of Rain is really a story i'm writing. It'll take some time to complete but visit the blog often and you'll find me putting up more ideas and content abt it.

Okay I'm publishing the first moments of Chapter One today. Happy reading. And if you have questions, the rest of the story will answer them. :)

TEARS OF RAIN - Chapter One

Keith stood on the white and pale beach, watching the calm waves die on the sand. He could not see far into the horizon; it was foggy. Small darkened spots on the sand appeared one by one. He felt the cold rain pat him lightly but constantly on his shoulders.

“Keith.”

He heard Lara call out to him in a calm and gentle voice. He looked. She was there but he could not see her face clearly, but he knew it was her. That long black flowing hair, that seemed to dance gracefully in the light breeze, and the contrasting white dress she wore, he recognized. He saw her smile. It was heart-warming. It touched him so much he wanted to see it every moment of his life.

“Remember what you’ve promised? You promised you’d come to our spot everyday… Have you forgotten? Keith… Come on… Let’s go…”

She turned around and ran. Keith felt guilty, but he still ran after her. He smiled as he ran, tears flowing in the wind. He reached the tallest palm tree on the beach, their spot, but Lara was gone. Keith struggled to find her in the fog. But there was no sign of her. Not even foot prints.

“But I’m here today… Lara…”

Keith sat down leaning on the tree.

It began to rain hard. He cried, too.
